Discovering Roman Ruins and Hiking in the Sierra Norte Mountains Part 1- Roman Ruins in Santiponce, Spain Now I will conclude my narrations of the trips Gisela and I made when she studied abroad in Seville, Spain (Gisela, her friends, and I did go to Madrid for the Halloween weekend, only we didn't do any sightseeing; we just partied, so that's why we won't write an article about that) back in the fall of 2021. That October, the weekend after our trip to Gibraltar, we did a half-day excursion of Italica, the name of the Roman settlement near Santiponce, Spain. Santiponce is about half an hour from Seville by bus or car. There was the option to do that excursion on a Friday or Saturday. We did it Friday after Gisela's 8:30 in the morning class. The second part of this article is about a hiking trip we did in the Sierra Norte Mountains. We made that day excursion in November, the weekend before we went to Paris.
