1. Winnipeg: A Canadian City of Prairies and Wildlife This travel takes us back to the summer of 2022, after Gisela and I finished our study abroad experience in Düsseldorf, Germany. That summer was exhilarating! We traveled around Germany and other European countries; Gisela only spoke German and Spanish with her classmates and the locals. Gisela got her first student credit card (after the trip), and we made more of an effort to exercise and be outdoors this summer. Gisela was also preparing for her last semester in university. She was going to finish her thesis, do more classes, continue her extracurricular involvements, and work at the school’s IT help desk (Gisela worked at the dining hall before, but the dining hall company changed during the summer. As a result, the workers got laid off).
