1. Our Second Time: Exploring the South of Vietnam Day 1 This story takes Gisela and me back to the beginning of March 2024, when Gisela finished teaching English abroad in Daegu, South Korea. Since we got to explore Asia throughout our time there, we wanted to do even more exploring before heading back home to the United States. For our final Asia trip, we went to southern Vietnam, Brunei, and Indonesia and stopped in Hong Kong for 8 hours before flying back to the US. After Gisela's last day was on February 28th, she closed her Korean bank account and Korean phone plan on the 29th, and then we flew down to Saigon, Vietnam, on the 1st. I will get started on narrating our adventures in southern Vietnam. It differed from the North regarding how people interacted, the environment, and the cultural values.
